Elemental weakness

I have not had the time to test out the patch.
Are elemental weaknesses still in the game?

There are but instead of the situation being "Enemies resist all elements except this single one that does normal damage" it is now "Enemies are very weak to one element, very strong against another, and neutral to the rest".
