New jobs and Anima Weapons for Stormblood

Do Red mage and Samurai get the quest for Anima weapons or will they be getting a different type of weapon? Also I can't seem to find the info; but are the current Anima weapons going to be able to raise item level?

As far as I'm aware, no they do not. There will be a whole new weapon quest line available at 70 though (along with the existing Jobs), so the anima questline is now complete and obsolete, and only worth it doing for glamour and completions' sake, like the relic quest before it.

I remember they said no. It's probalby the same as drk, ast, mch didn't get the relic in 2.0.

And I think Anima quest line has ended.

Most likely we will be able to turn in the Anima weapons we have to skip a step in the new "Grind every patch" weapon, of which there will be SAM and RDM equivalents. There will likely not be Anima weapons for SAM and RDM like there were no Zodiac/relic weapon equivalent for DRK, AST and MCH.

Actually no we wont yoshi has already said wont be a headstart if finished anima
