I doubt they will change the PotD. Now... whatever rumored new one they are going to intro in the future, that's a different question.

The level design algorims are pathetic.

Why not read the patch notes to see if there were any changes, instead of raging on the forums demanding answers?

plus, there is the option of doing the optional content you like, instead of complaining about the ones you don't like. This game is made for lots of people with different play styles. I find pvp mostly redundant. But I don't care what they do with it. It's not required to advance anything.

My guess is Midlight's Deep. Which tells you absolutely nothing about what it's going to be like! Unless if they keep the lights out mechanic.
