No Artifact Armor when using Job Boost?

After using a job boost on an alt in Zalera, I noticed several things.

First, I did not get an artifact armor set, and there is only one way to get said set: by doing the job quests... which are already cleared by using the boost.

Second, a similar issue happens with the story skip. According to the page explaining it,

Players will obtain all achievements, titles, mounts, and minions associated with the main scenario of A Realm Reborn and Heavensward.

...but no mention on equippable items. Meaning the House Fortemps Kite Shield and Scion Adventurer's set becomes unavailable.

Am I correct?

You should be able to buy those from Calamity Salvager.
