How are other DD fairing vs Ifrit?

So this afternoon I went into Ifrit with my LS, same core group that has always done it, same basic setup. There I was..all excited to use my new solo skillchains, I give our tank 20sec or so to build some hate and I let it rip.

Power Surge
Vorpal Thrust..120dmg
Impulse Drive...130dmg
Hawk's Eye, Blood for Blood, Blindside
Chaos Thrust...70dmg per hit.

The whole combo was about the same as an unbuffed Doomspike in 1.19.

So I thought I'd go back to trusty old Doomspike spam, 620dmg crit, down from 1k.

It took us about 6 minutes to get him to ignite.


So how are the other DDs fairing against him? Are PGL,THM,ARC,MRD noticing a massive decrease in their overall damage?

THM nukes are doing considerably more DMG on Ifrit now, going through the Thunder spells a well equipped THM hits 220ish Thunders, 400-500 Thundara's and 500ish Thundaga's if combo'd. Critting them does substantially more DMG, i've seen a ga hit 780 dmg. The one downside is that if you get resisted you unfortunately can't combo. Seems a viable strat if you are good with conserving MP, also the nukes have very low cast times. (save for ga) Having the backup heals for clutch situations aren't too bad either.
