Headset Causing Latency in Game?

this problem developed like, two days ago

my headset is the logitech g933 wireless

whenever i turn it on, i lag in game. when i tab out, nothing else lags. i tab back in, lag returns.

when im tabbed in and turn off my headset the lag quits. i turn it on, in game, the lag starts again

what is this problem? why am i having it and how do i fix it? ive tried updating and uninstalling/reinstalling the headset drivers but that didnt fix anything

Not sure if this helps but I have a Sony mdr 1000x and using the mic function lags. I think it's because it reads it as "hands free". Well anyways what I did was disable that portion of it in the sound setting and bought myself a blue yeti and that worked.

im hoping this problem can be fixed without having to buy anything extra :/
