[DRK] Priority dark arts

Hello.

With the new DRK, we can use DA on almost all spells. But what's the highter priority for use it ? On Bloodspiller, Souleater, Syphon strike ?

And for AoE, it's better to priorize Dark Passenger or Quietus ?

And what's better between DA or our new shield ?

I'm so lost on the new rotation of DRK :(

Rotation is the same you DA everything now SS in grit is one DA. Bloodspiller/CS gets auto priority ofcourse, dont use DP if your aoeing use AD last but not least if your caped out onf mana and your about to SS DA that. DS nolonger takes mana so yeah u can just DA everything now DA is nolong a special buff you have to think about using anymore it just something u press in every rotation now.

Ok thank you, and about The Blackest Night, how to use it ? 50 blood gauge are strong or we don't care about that ? This spell cost so much mana :/

Standard before the boss tank busts skill, since it only lasts 5 seconds it has no purpose outside of that.

I'm not sure how you guys play the new DRK, since aggro for tanks now has STR which I tend to see how much aggro I gain without using enmity combo. I tend to DA+Quietus after I already used Delirium. DA+ Dark Passenger when I need the extra defensive cooldowns.
In a single target fight: I prioritized DA on Bloodspiller, then DA on as many souleater as I can till 10-20% Mp left if my Bloodprice still on cooldown, also don't forget the DA+ Carve and Spit which I love using for an aggro lead.

In single target, DA is equal across the board (140potency ) excluding (grit)Bloodspiller ( 175 potency ) and Carve and spit ( 350 potency ). Just pop it on whatever you want just make sure to always use it on CoS and preferably on (grit)Boodspiller.

Aoe; Dark Passenger is top with 140 potency but thats 4800mp. DA quietus is quite strong with 50 extra potency to a total of 210 potency, else just save the mp for Abyssal Drain.

1. Carve and Spit: Flat out gains 350 potency instead of 140 compared to other DA attacks.
2. Bloodspiller: 520 potency x 1.20 (Darkside) = 624 (108 potency increase from Darkside)
3. Souleater: 420 potency x 1.20 = 504 (84 potency increase from Darkside)
4. Syphon Strike: 390 potency x 1.20 = 468 (78 potency increase from Darkside)
In AoE situations you should never DA an AoE attack. That MP is better spent on a TBN for mitigation (as long as you get the blood) or another Abyssal Drain.



This might not be necessarily correct but this is how I look at it.
