Point Allotment is Forever?

If so, I'm not so happy about that.

I don't mind that there are limits, like only being able to dump some of your total allotment into any one attribute, but what might seem like a good strategy today might turn out to be a pretty poor one tomorrow. Is there no way to back out of your choice?

I'm too lazy to read, but I think they said they're permanent in 1.20 but 1.21 will fix that, or something along those lines?

I can't quite understand Square's logic on this one. Every other MMO lets you respec things that are allocated (such as skills) - this should be one of those "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" sorta deals. I really hope they bring back the ability to reallocate states in 1.21, since you were able to do it in 1.19 too. :/

They said the redistribution will be possible in the near future. What they're asking for is for you to deal with it for a short while. No kittens will be killed if your stats aren't 100% optimal right this very moment.

Current allocation system is NOT the same as the allocation system back pre-1.19. The redistribution design thus needs to be reworked as well. It may not have been broken in the previous environment, doesn't mean anything here.

Yes, the permanence is temporary. You will not be able to reallocate stats for the duration of 1.20, probably because they've found it's harder than it should be to get working properly. But once they get it working, they will implement the ability to reallocate your stats, don't worry.

Interesting oxymoron that I'd never have heard if it wasn't for this patch. :D

I'm a little surprised at some of the class attributes as they relate to auto-attack damage bonus. For example, lancer bonus 1 is piety, and bonus 2 is strength.

Does anyone know the distinction between bonus 1 and bonus 2. Also, given the 'tempory permanace' of the attribute allocation, is it as simple as 1/2 points innto bonus 1 and 1/2 bonus 2? Since there is a cap per category, if I calculate right, you can essentially cap 2 categories.
