Lupin Playable Race

I think SE should make the Lupin a playable race. I know I personally would pay $50-$100 if I could pay for this race off the Mogstation to play as.

I don't expect something like this to go through simply because it would take a lot of time and resources to make them available and customizable to players such as face customization and outfit customization, but I believe in a very short time the reward of doing so would be very worthwhile.

I know WoW did it, but honestly who cares. People love wolf races it's just a fact and the Lupin in FFXIV look sooooo amazing that to not make them a playable race kinda feels like a crime. I know I personally am deeply saddened that they were not released as a race, but I still have hope. Just this availability would for sure make the continuation of playing FFXIV far more enjoyable to play for me.

I feel the same way (I actually considered starting a thread about this too, till I saw this one!). There are other MMOs with a more bestial race, so why not FFXIV? There would be a better sense of variety in the player base besides its conventionally attractive humanoids.

I assume that the devs' biggest issue would be making existing headgear fit their heads, because of the ears and snout. However... I wouldn't mind if headgear didn't show on them. They could still wear them for the stats but would always have the appearance disabled. I'd live with that. They'd still look cool.

Dude I'm with you. After seeing them in the main story it just made me wish I could play as one.
