Someone please tell me that Samurai is actually getting decent gear sets in the game.

Haven't finished the current content, not by far. But from visiting Market Boards and vendors, having a friend link me some gear, it's like there is not 1 decent Samurai outfit, with the exception of the starting gear for the Job, and the current end-game gear set. Is there more that I am not aware of?

I'm sure you will find some nice looking gear in one of the new dungeons.

Go to wolvesd den and talk to the armour dood and choose the sb option. Very nice set there

The complete leveling gear for SAM is shared with MNK so it has to fit both and can't be special for one job.

Really wish they would have given Samurai its own leveling set. Just went through the Eorzea Database, always forget that thing exists, and count on one hand the Samurai outfits I like. Guess I'll stick to the Nameless Togi.

The bigger problem is special gear for all jobs while leveling or dungeons would just lead to item and recipe bloat.
Tomestone gear would be the perfect place to introduce job specific gear every 2 patches or endgame dungeon gear.

Mine looks great in a Yukata.

uhm i have seen some with cool gear but passed so fast i was unable to check the glamour :/ , so there are some cool designs (dungeon drops probably)

You also got to remember that what you consider decent is probably ugly to another person and vice versa. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I myself don't like Jappy looking gear, so I will definitely be glamouring over it.
