Step 1
1. Enagage enemy without locking on and trying to push L3. Lock on does not work during battle.
Step 2
1. Approach enemy without aggro'ing it. Push L3. Lock on works
2. While fighting monster and you disable lock on you are unable to relock on when in battle.
So, is this an intended thing now?
Because losing the ability to lock onto the enemy during battle is a pretty big thing when it comes to melee DPS and using it to rotate around the enemy's hit box.
Rather than manually directing the character North West/East.
Its very strange not having the lock on resistance and walking though the boss.
However it is not advantageous in certain fights such as A11s and A12s. Because of hitbox size and swipes.
However having the comfort of switching lockon/off is very much missed.
After testing lock on feature again. I have found that Lock on and Lock off does work in battle. In order to enable it. You must left go of L2 or R2. Previously I was able to keep L2/R2 held down and click L3. This is something new to learn as I normally have a trigger held down at all times.
