An idea for class guilds

It's good that they're being taken away for the time being, but I think SE should consider implementing them again in the near future.

Perhaps we can purchase class/job exclusive gear using these marks. It would only make sense that guilds carry these exclusive weapons and gears since their sole focus are the classes they represent. Maybe guilds can have master crafters that can exchange amazing gear for a certain amount of guild marks and by bringing in certain materials possibly only dropped by powerful NMs, obtained through quests, or gained via boss fights (primal battles maybe?). It would also be cool if they can include ranks, similar to the Grand Company system, with higher tier items available to higher tier members of the guild.

I just think after guild marks are taken away, guilds, for the most part, will seem a bit useless after you partake in their quests. It would be nice to be constantly involved with the guild of your favorite class/job. I know SE mentioned maybe making use of guild marks again, but nothing is set in stone.

Anyway, what do you guys think? What should be done with class guilds?

I'm all for that. I'd much rather spend marks for class exclusive gear and even if I could just buy ranged weapons for said class (i.e. PGL, LNC, GLA etc.)

Suppose we'll see what they do though.

I don't have any ideas really for the class guilds, but I would like there to be some kind of function for them other than doing three quests.

I'd like them to expand on the quests within guilds & have them work into their respective job specializations.

I think a neat idea to implement for Guild Marks would be the ability to purchase Class/Job-specific Materia.

I really hope we get to use the class guilds for something more significant in the future. Maybe they can make it so the guilds tie-in with the future content being released? Yoshi-P wants player housing, right? So how about we have the DoH class guilds provide the building materials? Maybe the DoW class guilds can be used for special missions that handle hamlet defense stuff? Then, the guilds marks that we would earn could be used to purchase the housing material or get more class specific armor and tools.

Yeah, I like the idea that we get different kinds of guilds, but class guilds seem like a waste atm. I enjoy being a CNJ and THM so it would be nice if I could somehow expand upon them through their respective guilds.
