Thoughts on Touch of Death removal?

i honestly do not know what to think about it. i have not noticed any drastic change in terms of DPS, but at the same time, i feel as if the absence of the ability has effected MNK/PUG's DPS (ARR/Heavensward) in some form.

honestly, maybe it just me. i relied on touch of death in probably every battle, and now it is just gone.

It makes the rotation that much more boring, honestly. I liked keeping track of the DoT personally. Just feels like we have less to do and keep track of, at least now since I don't have any new skills (For reasons we all know and shouldn't go into here).

I don't really mind it. All those weak DoTs (Mutilate, Fracture) just felt like an unnecessary distraction from the core of the job. Didn't really make sense why every job needed a DoT to keep track of.

ToD wasnt a weak DoT it was one of our strongest skills it was a 270 potency skill where every tick could crit :x

Worst part is we got nothing to make up for it. Math says Deep Meditation is gonna give us 5 chakra about every 2 minutes. That is nowhere near enough to make up for 270 every 30 seconds, and Riddle of Fire is only really good for Brotherhood and all your oGCD use, the former is one average 2 Forbidden Chakras per use in an average 8 man group, and the latter was what B4B was for so that balances out.

I dunno. On it's face and through the math, our additions and changes just make up weaker in too many ways. I'll reserve any harsh judgement for level cap the the class numbers the proceed.

Also, Brotherhood has anti-synergy with healers and casters. Like, what the what is that about? -_-

and that's where i see the problem.

there is compensation, but it is in the form of expansion exclusive content. How is that fair?
