They moved them cause the new place is cheaper and the old place wouldn't let them expand. Jokes on us though!

Yep, they did not upgrade anything except give people higher ping times on a game that has high input delay and high response delay as is.

Maybe some people but my wife and I got a lower ping as did most members of my free company. We never had an issue before the move either. We live just north of Seattle in Washington state so with the servers in Montreal we should have had bad ping and response rate, we didn't. A lot of people benefited from the server move. It's possible that the people who's game got worse or unplayable are having issues on their ISP's end.
