Sets in Strongholds - Why Sentinel is the only tradeable/medable?

Like I said on title and was bugging me for a while... why the Sentinel set is the only tradeable/meldable? They are going to fix the bug of pants being unique/untradeable even!

What about Sipahi, Sorcerer and Mercenary? Why they are unique/untradeable and cant be meldable like Sentinel?

Isn't that a bit unfair? Come on SE... Or you make all equal like or all meldable and tradeable or all unique/untradeable.

I could see a massive eruption of nerd rage if Sentinel gear became U/U.

Beats me. I figured with some of the topics posted since 1.19 that they might have removed the U/U restrictions on it. They even went so far as to make the only piece of Sentinel gear that was U/U actually tradeable/meldable now.

I guess the only thing that makes sense is they don't want to make crafted gear totally useless, because that's what most pieces of that gear would do if they were able to be socketed.

Get rid of it. Unfair to all other classes that can't do this.

Now I don't want the sorceror's equipment.

I've been asking the same question since 1.19 came out. Why Sentinel gear could have materia in it while the others could not. No no, thanks SE, I really do ENJOY running around, having the exact same shit as everyone else...

Some of those pieces aren't exactly the easiest things to get ;v

It'd be pretty justified considering the drop rates and the fact that that gear would be complete garbage without being able to attach materia.

Instead, dropped gear is useless. Hoo-ray.

I have been wondering the same thing since 1.19 release and still waiting on info regarding the idea behind this. It is completely unfair and it makes the other sets useless. Considering the difficulty to get these items, all of them should be U/U or convertible/meldable.

Not to mention the fact that everyone who put three materia into each piece would lose all that hard work. For the health of Bayohne and Rukkirii, lets hope they don't turn it U/U lol.

Vanfrano... exactly. They are quite useless with us being able to double meld materias on each piece of gear of non-rare and unique.

The drop rate on SH gear is so low and tedious, and the stats aren't that good. It should be meldable. I know some NM gear is meldable and it hasnt been an issue.


I was really hoping to see this taken care of in 1.20
