Lvl cap not increasing in Stormblood

Area and coordinates: Revenants Toll

Steps:
1. Downloaded and activated Stormblood as instructed.
2. Checked Mogstation the 'Stormblood Early Access' Account status is there
3. Went online for first time, transported to Camp Dragonhead and noticed when I killed monsters there was no EXP despite my fellow FC members saying that the lvl cap has increased.
4. Logged out and back in to reset.
5. Went and completed first MSQ quest in Revenants Toll which was supposed to reward approx 167,000 EXP however did not get said EXP and the bar did not change.
6. Logged out and contacted Support however am unable to log back in due to congestion.
