Can the job gauges be hidden?

HUD layout option doesn't seem to work.

My HUD is very cluttered as it is and I don't need this thing adding to it. It seems to be "always on top" too so I can't just hide it behind something else like the minimap.

The best I'm able to do is to just try to slide it off the screen but it doesn't let me slide the entire thing off the screen so it just ends up looking very ugly.

I hope this become optional. The gaudy gauges not only look bad, but also clutter my otherwise clean UI.

PLEASE add option to see things like GL stacks and Chakra's the old way, via parameter bar, and to hide these things.

Ive not logged on yet but from what ive seen you can hide it in HUD layout. Jusy make sure when you do hide it you apply the changes to it otherwise a any changes you made will be lost.

Nope, can't seem to be hidden. And no, they don't show up on status bars.

Best option I've come up with is resizing to minimum and moving it out of the way.

Exactly why I feel like these overblown gauges don't need to be there. Plz let us remove, SE :<

They said they're working on simplified versions. The gauge will always be required to some degree.

You can make them small in HUD settings if they're THAT annoying

There are several classes for which I cannot see what it is "required" for at all, especially if we still get normal buff icons anyway.

Still, would prefer the old way of these things being on the parameter bar; which is the far cleaner and easier to read option for myself. The gauge being "needed" is false, as all the gauges are, are job tailored things that display job tailored things in a fancy way - things that were previously only on the parameter bar and thus should still be available on it, as an option for those who prefer the older display setting and/or don't want their UI being stuck with yet more bars.

WAR's beast gauge might be best kept up, while you're building points for skills. Although, they still highlight when available, so, not super necessary.

Also, not all classes maintain the buff icons on bars. SMN/SCH seem to have no other means of indicating stacks of Aetherflow. BLM lost the icons, but that was never a big deal with the floating orbs we get.
