Regarding the new Jump Potions

Assuming the new Mogstation items in the preliminary patch notes are the jump potions, is there a specific reason why Summoner and Scholar was split into 2?

I want to assume it grants ACN at 60 for both, but it makes no sense to just split it. If I am misunderstanding something, please help me out. :confused:

Afaik the potions are flagging all your job-quests as "done" too - so your arcanist might be on level 60, but you'd still have to do the jobquests for the job you didnt pay for

As far as I know it also gives gear and does the job quests for that job it was bought for. So then they'd have to split it or you're getting 2 for the price of 1. There's also rumours floating around that Square Enix are going to cull the class join affecting Summoner and Scholar so they'd become separate like every other job.

that is also very true, i forgot that equipment was a factor that contributed to your choice.

lso, i really hope so. i want my bane back and i want sch to get its own kit soon. both are very unique classes and it would be a shame to just chain them down from their full potential.
