Specialists: Is There Hope for Using Their Actions More Often Now?

I for one am loving the changes to Byregot's Miracle and Trained Hand. Frankly, BM was never really all that useful over its cross-class counterpart unless you wanted to preserve IQ, and having TH never fail now is awesome.

I'm concerned about the new restriction on changing. Only 3 times a week.

Could be a problem if we end up with Specialist required recipes again, but if not I personally plan to stick to my current 3.

As opposed to being able to change only once every 2 weeks like in HW?!?! Granted, specialist was practically useless in HW but 3 changes per week is hardly anything to complain about. In fact - we are lucky that they even allow you to change at all - specialist should be a specialist not a trait you change out when it is convenient.

No, specialist shouldn't even be in the game at all because it's just a way to punish omni crafters and does absolutely nothing for the contingent that it was supposedly going to help, the single crafters. It's a pointless system and if they can't get it to actually be beneficial to those who only have one craft and make them competitive in the market, they need to get rid of it.

Actually, if you stored the Soul of the Crafter items, you could put off changing for ten weeks and then change ten times in one week. Now, you cannot.

Yeah, I've been stockpiling soul of the crafter for months. Bah!
