Fold, Slaughter, Party Feast removed.

Was just looking over the patch notes, and apparently, we've lost three of our PvP modes to the new changes. Kinda not sure how to take this, since I was actually looking forward to doing the Fold and especially Slaughter again. Can't really understand why they'd remove the more fun option for the Ruins. I mean, aren't expansions supposed to ADD things, not take them away? Instead, we've lost entire chunks of content that could have been fun with the new level options. I say new, but since the Fold used to start out at 30, they would have almost been reverting back to how it was. Either way. A little salty. Give out TONS of new PvE content, strip out PvP content. Thanks.

The following PvP instances have been removed:

The Fold (Matched Party)
The Fold (Light Party)
The Feast (4 on 4 - Light Party)
The Borderland Ruins (Slaughter)

I did. Right there in the middle of the PvP section, is this.

Yeah--I know these weren't the most popular activities, but its sad to see them go and be removed entirely. What gives?

No more light party Feast? That was...unexpected. Maybe this is to make room for the big PVP thing that's coming.

Can we at least see the Fold map get rolled into the Feast or something?

Borderlands Deathmatch was pretty much the only thing of its kind. Why is it removed now?

I get that these weren't being used much, but you just made it so that we can use PVP as a way to exp. That alone was going to draw a lot of people in.

A bit sad about Slaughter even though it was a completely unbalanced chaosfest. Being able to use other jobs more easily in PVP might have given it a boost. Maybe they're planning to reintroduce the Slaughter mode in another form later?

I don't care about The Fold but I'm really sad to see Feast LP completely removed. It had serious playerbase issues which needed addressing if the reports from the regulars were even slightly accurate but one of my friends just got strong enough and I thought I would finally be able to field a team. I don't like the antisocial no-chat solo queue but I was hoping the solution for LP would be registering fixed teams or something, not deletion. Oh well. Maybe things will improve before I finish the MSQ :(

Incredibly disappointed in the changes. I don't understand why they would allow PvP to be accessible at level 30, finally making old modes accessible again instead of just SHATTER SHATTER SHATTER SHATTER, but then they removed them...? I don't get it. As far as Feast goes, I always kept to solo queue myself, but I hate that SE would remove Light Party completely because they're too lazy to fix the issues with it. Just removing the rewards would have gone a long way. Now there's literally no way to play Feast cross-server in premades until at least 4.1 (so a good 3-3.5 months), and that's IF they don't push the implementation of cross-server custom matches even further because lol who cares about PvP.

I hope they're at least going to add battle high/fever to secure. Maybe normalise the kill point system to be the same as seal rock and shatter, I'd have preferred they keep slaughter but changing secure to be more like slaughter with bases would work too.

I don't see much loss with the fold, no one played that mode, I queued for it once and didn't get a pop for 4 hours before giving up.

Just trimming the fat, focusing people into a smaller number of modes which should be a positive for queue times. They probably felt like Fold and Slaughter were made obsolete by Feast providing the best deathmatch type experience. So now you've just got Feast and 3 different Frontlines maps each providing different objectives gameplay.
