Final Fantasy XIV 1.0 Benchmark

So due to maintenance happening I thought why don't we all run the 1.0 benchmark!

It is, by far. Also the cutsceenes there was more lively than we have in 2.0 but 3.0 was better, I still liked the 1.0 cs more from what I've seen.

Well that was during a time when they put graphics on the forefront. Now it's not as big of a priority anymore.

Ah how cool it was. Way back when... my poor computer was sad. Things looked cool but sometimes... it would just nearly die. Now! I got 7k for a score and it brings back memories of OOh and Ahhh! Of all the things 1.0 had going for it... it was chara detail and those scenes. Too bad ARR couldn't keep those. (Then again, I'm sure the PS3 would have likely died as well. XD)

I never played 1.0, but I did try the Beta and the fight on the boat is etched in my memory. I really liked it and missed it alot when I started 2.x.

Yeah and there is no way ps3 could handle that, leave alone barely could run 2.0 on ps3 lol

I did all three of the city states when I got it... oddly I can't remember if I beta'd it or not... hmm. Anyway all three of them were cool. I think the boat one was the most memorable. Grindania's was fun. And... Ul'dah... well ... XD

I did miss them as well. Though I accepted that things couldn't be the same with ARR.

7116. As someone who skipped 1.0 due to reviews, it's interesting to see the lineage of the modern game.
