Jump potions?

So I've recently had a few friends return to the game, and to my understanding there will be two different potions. One to skip story (for each expansion) and one to level your jobs (each job has their own) So all of that I know. I also know it says one per account. But does that mean one of each? Or just one potion in general? Can someone use a story skip and a job level on the same account? I've tried looking through the forums for the other jump potion threads with no luck lol

You can use one of each on the same account.

18$ for 1-60 and 26$ for both story's (ARR/HW)...and both can only be used one time per character.

But at the same time useless, only take a few 1 maBye 2 week top to finsh both story's and get to LV 60, hell if you just burn the story you can be done and @60+ in just a few days.

I don't understand, why does everyone keep referring to these damn items as potions? They were described as books for flavor. And for the love of the Twelve, why Jump potions of all things?
The first time I heard somebody mention these I literally thought they were alchemy-crafted potions that would let our character jump higher and I could not figure out why anybody would need that.

Jump from jumping to a specified destination, story progression or level.
Potion from the first iteration of these items, they were potions.

It you feel better you can call it skip books here, from skipping content and books from the appearence ingame :p

Only the leveling potion is limited to one per account. Neither of the story skips have this limitation, which itself, is temporarily. The devs said they'll revisit it during 4.1.

I wish the jump Books/Potions/Decapitated Moogle Heads/Whatever would not skip the class quests for the job you're leveling. I don't want to go through the pain of leveling yet another dps (or anything) but I DO want to see the cool class story.
