Weapon glow graphical bug

I've encountered a glitch with my weapon glow (Thyrus Nexus in my case) that makes it look really blocky and weird when the camera is zoomed out.

I've made attempts to fix this, however the only way to get rid of it (so far) is to play in DX9 with HDR off, but that comes with its own inconveniences. This also leads me to believe it's not a bug and more of a graphical issue, since others don't seem to have it. Messing with the in-game settings in DX11 doesn't seem to do anything. Any help is appreciated.
