Transfer ps4 to ps4 pro

I just got the the ps4 pro today and i was wondering if anybody can tell me the steps to do the transfer? I heard that you can transfer your data to another console as long you have that cable which i don't know which one though. Since my ps4 isn't working that well i just thought i could buy the ps4 pro for the better upgrades. I really want to do it carefully specially on this game that i like so much. Also which device do i need to do a back up in case something happens while doing the transfer. I'm sorry if im sounding ignorant i'm not that great when it comes with technology. So the thing i want to know if once i do the transfer will i keep my macro, gear, hotbars and items? Also whats the fist thing to do when i open up my ps4 pro to do the transfer? Anyway i will be happy if anyone can answer my questions, thanks in advance!

What axxion said, its really good and less effort changing hdd and all that stuff then transfer.

There are 2 ways, a simple and a complicated way

simple way:
connect both PS4 with an ethernet cable
go on your PS4 Pro to Settings -> System -> Transfer Data from Another PS4

complicated way:
plugin an external HDD on your PS4
go to Settings -> System -> Back Up and Restore -> Back Up PS4
after it finished plugin the external HDD on your PS4 Pro
go to Settings -> System -> Back Up and Restore -> Restore PS4
