So I just built a new computer and went to install the game on it. Everything is fine I can get to the log in screen but once I log in it gives me this page and nothing else.https://puu.sh/whXiO/618459a0c7.jpg I can't access the config panel from the launcher either as it just gives me a blank black screen. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher twice now and I'm at a loss. Thanks in advance.
Did you check the config box for 'install HW expansion'? Sounds like that may be your issue - not having HW installed. If your toon is logged out in a HW zone then it can't load it.
Edit: From the launcher (before you login) hit 'CONFIG' long the bottom, then make sure 'Expansion Auto-Installation
Any expansions purchased via the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station can be automatically installed. ' is turned on.
It wont let me even access the config section and I'm logged out in my FC house anyway.
Sorry, I didn't properly read the bottom of your post. I'm pretty sure the installation is the issue giving the error....but the black screen on config I have no idea about or how to resolve. Tried the basic 'Run as admin'? May be worthwhile to post your PC details so a more tech savvy player can assist.
Thank you for your help. In my infinite wisdom and rush to get things together before Friday I forgot to update my .net framework. It's installing everything correctly now so hopefully that was the last issue.
Ah! Awesome :)! I'm also doing pre-SB installations. Gotta DL Heavensward on PS4 (Have been playing on disc....never got around to DL'ing digital). The struggle is real.
My wife plays on our PS4 I thankfully got that handled while waiting for my pc to become operational. Friday can't come fast enough.
It'll be great! Except this time it'll be prime time for my server :( Heavensward it was off-peak (except for those who stayed up for launch).....queue 2402 here i come!
