Can we please remove every thread with the word "stance" in it?

Two things wrong with those threads:

1. People start insulting each other and acting butthurt.
2. Too many threads about the same topic.

Well if thats the case then let's remove this thread too.

I wouldn't mind the threads if it didn't turn into an all out war where people are insulting each other and behaving like children.

I actually find it more annoying when threads like this pop up for the removal of X thread.

I mean, it's not hard to avoid opening up threads related to a particular topic if one so chooses. Titles alone typically tip people off as to what any given thread is about, after all.

I kind of agree. It's a shame because it's an issue that needs addressed, but much like politics these days it doesn't seem possible to have a civilized conversation about it. People see things their way and refuse to see other peoples opinions. I've seen some decent talk between the two sides (for a brief moment before the insults fly) and both sides make a few good points.

I toggle cleric and dps, though I don't like it. So I'm the strange one that thinks a healer 'should' dps and not just hang out to cast their next cure, but I also understand why people aren't comfortable with it. CS is a clunky buff that feels awkward to use. Even with lots of practice and learning the mechanic well, it still isn't comfortable to always use, especially in raids where it is more expected. Tank misses a cooldown and you just popped cleric?

Well BLMs need to learn that there is nothing called ice mage

First they need to delete mentors.
