Thinking about moving to Balmung

At the moment my main character is on midgardsormr, not due to any prior planning, it just happened to be an open server since Balmung is nearly impossible to get into. I hear there is like, an opening right as maintenance ends... I digress.

I have no qualms paying for it. But should I transfer to the server now, or wait until at least a month into Stormblood?

I'd like to transfer soon, I've already gotten to the gil cap for transfer and have tried to subsidize it in allagan coins and other materials.

You actually can't transfer to Balmung now. They locked it down a few weeks ago.

They said it would be talked about again around 4.1.

... well... that sucks. I really wanted to RP on Balmung. and now I need to wait till 4.1 at best, which could be another 5-6 months.

Are there like, any actual alternative RP servers? Since both Balmung and Gilgamesh have been locked? I don't know if midgardsormr is actually known for anything.
