Reason for Lack of Miqo'te in MSQ?

I mean we get plenty of Lalafells... and a over abundent amount of Humans and Elfs. But where the hell are all the Miqote and Roe?

We have.... Y'shtola?(ForNow) Thats about it not count old lady F' who disappeared.

Are there any Miqote characters in any of the class stories? again all i've seen are every other race in them unless the Miqote is a baddy.


There was a absence lack of Mithra in FFXI too if I recall correctly, tons of humans and Elfs tho.

Miqo'te are prevalent/important in the black mage, archer, summoner, and arcanist stories I believe? Outside of that I can't really think of any, and there's definitely like... zero Miqo'te presence in the MSQ outside of Y'shtola and that one random short part in Thanalan.

I guess we gotta wait for a Expansion focus for Miqote? Because theres a tiny amount in ARR and Heavensworn(forareasontho)

it's either that or we're really just backdrop eye candy to Yoshi and SE.

There are quite a lot of Miqote around. Maybe not in major significant roles though. Do remember we have been mainly hanging out in places like Ishgard recently were there are nearly no native Miqote. Part of the reason is Miqote tribes mainly live away from the main city state hubs.

Rhika (storm commander of Maelstrom)
Guild Master of the ACN guild
Shadow sect members in MNK quests
Y'mihtra, Y'shtola's sister and SMN quest giver
Ghara from the Crystal Tower
The Miqote from the Rogues guild whose name I forgot (V'kebe?)
Your opponent in the HW CUL quests
The Sister of Ash who's name I forget too.
Whatever Lyse's friends name is.

There are probably a lot more. I am tired and not really trying hard to think of any significant ones. Part of the issue is there isn't a Miqote dominant nation. Like their are with Roe, Lala, Elezen and Hyur (and soon to be Au Ra). As a result their presence is a lot more defused. That said, I certainly wouldn't be opposed to more Miqote turning up. I do notice that a lot of that list are Sunseekers.

There are heaps of Roe, particularly of the Sea Wolf variety.

That's part of the reason i went miqo'te. So that there would be at least one man cat in the story.

Miqote have the only child quest giver in the game.. and her sister who also pushes you to do stuff.
