Free Company chest space is just too limited

Ok so we are getting an inventory space increase, and an increase in armory chest space (mostly to cater for the new jobs I presume).. However what about Free Company chests? They need some serious love..

I think it's pretty sad that free company chests have less space than 1 retainer.
Isn't the point of an FC chest to store items that members can share?

Currently there is barely enough space for necessary FC-based items, such as airship mats and rewards, or aetherwheels etc.

While I am on this topic, I asked this a while ago but would love this to be adjusted as well -
Please allow us to store Primed aetherwheel buffs in the FC chest.
It is quite silly that when removing a primed wheel, it is stuck on the character that removed it - and you can't place it in the FC chest for members to use these buffs as needed.

So a quick tldr version:
1. Increase FC chest size. At the bare minimum of a retainer. If not, double a retainer's capacity.
2. Allow Primed aetherwheels to be stored in the chest.

I could be wrong but from what I recall the answer always comes down to their ancient server tech can't handle more information being stored.

I mean, correct me if I am wrong but didn't they just move server locations for this very reason? Hence why we are seeing an inventory space increase...

All I am saying is that FC chests need some love too.

Well they did say a inventory limit was going to be implemented around expansion so we can just wait and see.

Well yes, I mentioned that in the OP.

My fear is that it is an issue that's been overlooked for a long time because it doesn't have a direct effect on every player. I mean, active FC leaders and members who use the chest likely know about this issue but it's not as prominent as personal inventory space because everyone in the game uses that.. I am mostly bringing this up because we have been told about an increase in inventory space, and an increase in furnishing allotments, however this hasn't been mentioned which is a little concerning.

While it's a bit late to bring it up again (though I did bring it up in the past and I am sure I am not the only one), I am hoping it hasn't been overlooked and am bringing it up now in case it's something that can be tacked in for the expansion.

I think they said there may be an issue with increasing retainer inventory , so this may fall under the same category. It was in one of the new interviews. I think it maybe a video one. I'm having trouble remembering where I heard it. Let me see if I can find it.

Limited Folklore Mats (latest expansion)
Limited Unspoiled Node Mats (latest expansion)
ilvl 55 and up Materia for DOH, DOL, and DOW/DOM
All Aethersands
Relevant Seeds for Garden Production
Component Mats made from Folklore and Unspoiled Mats (latest expansion)
Chocobo Feed and Than soil

What we cannot store for access due to lack of space is;
Airship Goods (one person holds these in his bags)
Lower level materia for those classes we are levelling
Food/Drink buff/medicines (I'll state why thats important in a minute)
Previous expansion Legendary and Unspoiled node mats

Food/drink buffs/medicines are important for promotional benefits and gains within an FC/Raid Team. Hierarchy that could support core raiders or core crafters/gatherers could have the benefit of their position rewarded by all the farming they do, contributions they make, or gathering for the FC. It would support a community and team environment and build loyalty, keep players happy in their FC's. Officers and Raid Leaders of course would distribute. This may sound like a pie in the sky idea, but I have successfully built a guild with all of this in place myself sporting 6 x 10 man raid teams in the end and 2 tiered 25man raid team.

I dont raid anymore now, just putting it out there that FC's could do so much more to build community and teams with a larger resource and availability of access to the necessary's to do that. The FC chest should be able to cater to the FC in its entirety; more and new gaming content requires more space to put them.

I thought it might be good for SE to think bigger on the social/community/team aspect of the purpose of our FC chests and what we could achieve with the storage necessary for us to be able to operate functionally on a community level.

Please seriously consider expansion of the FC chest SE. My partner and I are the only two in our FC and if we are having issues with not being able to store what we need to, I can only imagine what an FC with 50-200 members is having to deal with.

It would be nice to have a lot more company chest space than is currently provided. It discourages leaders from allowing item sharing because there's too limited space for people to donate stuff for others to use.

I would definitely like an expanded FC chest. The space we have is simply not adequate for an active FC.

In addition, I'd like the power to set:
- A fixed amount of gil that can be removed daily for each rank.
- A fixed amount of crystals that can be removed daily for each rank.
- Some way to limit the amount of items that can be removed for each rank (WoW does it by saying, any amount of items from x number of stacks)
This wouldn't completely prevent 'theft' but it would lessen the impact. More importantly it would allow FC leaders to give members some access to things like gil and crystals that most of us keep locked for security.
I know people don't like having to ask for every little thing, but the present 'all or nothing' system makes locking some tabs a necessity.

I'd also like additional storage in the Workshop for:
- Airship and Submarine parts
- The 'token' materials we use to buy the recipes (empty clusters, red clay etc.)
- The crystals we use to make the Aetherial wheels
If they could manage to squeeze in a tab for storing materials to make the subs and airships that could only be accessed in the Workshop, that would be wonderful.
This could take the form of a new chest or even a second mammet, there is plenty of space in there.
If expanding the chest significantly really would stain the servers then this would be a step in the right direction at least. Of course, ideally I'd like to see both an expansion of the FC Chest and Workshop Storage implemented.
