Additional Information needed [URGENT]

Hey,
I have recently purchased a [PC] version of Heavensward. I have purchased it by accident as i dont even own a cd-rom so it is no use to me. I would like to return it and buy the [PC DOWNLOAD] version of the product.

The problem is, time is important for me and i know that if i open the product that i already have i will be unable to send it back and get a refund. So my question is as I cannot open the box. Does the CD version also contain digital download code that i could use which would result in the fact that i wouldn't actually have to return it and buy download version.

you only need the code, once u apply it in mogstation, u can try to log in, and it will say ur missing the files and DL them right then (this is what happened for my GF, and how I got the game on my new PC after i moved and no longer had the discs)

You can (legally) download the launcher from: http://gdl.square-enix.com/ffxiv/inst/ffxivsetup.exe

And then it'll update itself and you can feed in the code from the box when asked. The physical version is mainly to help with the initial install for people with slower/limited Internet connections, but it's not a requirement you use it.
