Game Resolution/Hud/Game Settings/Hotbar Resetting Windows 10

Hello -

I'm a New Player and having trouble with FFXIV Hud/Game Settings/Hotbar resetting in Windows 10. When I log out for the day and come back the following day (on the same computer) the game will not save any settings I change. An example of this problem is the game resolution, Hotbars, Spells, & HUD moves back to old position.

I have read that other players have had this problem but I think that I am not understanding the answer. I am launching as admin to run the game. I have also tried the effort of going to "My Documents" folder and everything was set to "Read Only."

I am completely frustrated and I am not understanding what is needed.

How does the game shutdown? Are you just hitting Alt+F4 or right clicking the icon in the task bar and clicking close? Is the game displaying any error message when it closes?

The game needs permission to edit the files in the folder it is installed and needs to successfully close to make sure changes are saved to files.

Please check these and update to let me know if further investigation is needed.
