[4.0 AST Feedback] Regarding the move of status effects to job UIs

Since the effects on the job UIs won't appear as statuses, asts will no longer be able to click or /statusoff cards. This is problematic because:

1. Undraw having an animation and/or being unusable while casting will make it less efficient than the /statusoff macro it's meant to replace.

2. In a party with two asts, it will be impossible to tell what cards the other has, to avoid overlapping cards.

Most importantly,
3. There is no replacement for clicking off spread or RR statuses.

The new Sleeve Draw skill introduces the possibility of getting an undesirable spread card (i.e. spear) that won't be removable by Undraw. The only way to clear the spread will be to use the card, which can force the consumption of a good RR. Considering that we were given Undraw to help ease the transition from statuses to job UIs, I doubt this is an intended inconvenience, so I'd really appreciate if an official response could be given confirming if this was/is being considered.

IIRC they said the buffs will also be shown as normal still, so you can continue tracking your buffs via the old way if you prefer.

Yeah, I know they mentioned it on the tank portion of the live letter because it's useful to know if your tank is in whatever stance despite them getting it on their guage. I only assume it will be the same for all classes as I haven't looked at the party UI in depth since I assumed it hasn't changed.

That's comforting to hear, any source you could link me?

I got the impression that there'd be no way to change them back since using celestial opposition on "X card drawn" would only be possible with the job UIs turned off and statuses re-enabled, which would mean that a HUD setting would have a direct impact on the game mechanics, and that sounded really unlikely to me.

Pretty sure Yoshi mentioned this in the last Live Letter, which I'm not sure if it's ever been posted yet to rewatch or not.

I was worried about this too but watching the Mr. Happy video when he played as AST, the cards he got were still shown on the party list buffs so that's comforting at least.

Contrast this to when he played as the SMN, the Aetherflow stacks and Aethertrail attunements don't seem to show on the party list.
