A nice change indeed.

For the chocobo, I think dangerous beasties like the galago, drake, and floating eye still pose mad threatage.

But yes, I do thank you too! Now those scattered Aldgoats will be forced into my steadfast... rather than tossing their horned fury at me at different ranges for different lengths of time.

Don't take Germ warfare lightly now. As far as the list goes it would appear that every NM will still retain an RA move, but they did remove some normal mobs RA but as Fiosha mentioned those mobs can still RA so it's not like your choco is 100% safe it's just less likely to be struck down from certain mob types.

Some still have ranged attacks, like the jerk Young Raptors around Camp Iron Lake...

oh...so it is possible to exploite the target system now ? you know if you keep spam the W the mobs will follow you but cant attack because the server recognize you as far away ? at least it work on other target mmorpg, havent test this one :p

Didn't read over that long list of monsters that actually still do have a ranged attack, but hopefully this'll make it easier collecting aetherytes in the high level areas.
