Progress vs fun vs grind. MGP is grind.
Hi Forum, Hi Devs~
I was looking forward to the make it rain event until I remembered (returning player):
MGP grinding is long, tedious, and boring.
Triple Triad is long, tedious, and boring due to all the chaos, random, and "time windows".
I want to log in, do something rewarding for my 4-6 hours, and log out feeling like I've made progression.
Even with the +50% bonus, it's just not rewarding.
It's grindy things like this that made stop playing last year.
Positive note: the Triple Triad duty was fun to find other players to play against.
FFXIV is what I consider a "long setup" game. I don't want to log in daily to do dailies to make any real progress.
Quick, easy like clash of clans's things ok.
FFXIV? I expect to sit down and play for 4+ hours; I may not feel like doing that daily.
So, please, be more considerate with your grindy game systems...
