i feel as though there isn't enough balance between the focus of loose or less-cloth more skin clothing between male and female characters. It feels like that the female characters are over-sexualized and get more of that attention than male characters so my request is that male characters get more loose clothing options in-game some examples as a reference:
I think you underestimate the options available to the male characters. That said Its likely more options will appear in the future. Most skimpy gear that is cross gender is skimpy for both. As they progressively create male versions of some of the female only sets you might see more appear. We will see what the Male Bunny outfit is like. If there is no fishnet stockings I think a true opportunity would have been missed.
Pic 1 would be my preferable style of 'skimpy' clothing for male characters.

i can understand that males do have the various subligar variations, the coliseum sets, and coerul briefs. but the others such as the swimsuits are event related or GC restricted where as females have much the same but are given slightly more in regards to the "revealing" aspect. could be that yes the devs are more leaning towards female models but i think there should be some measure of equality and male characters get the same amount of attention etc.
what I understand this thread as: "females are over-sexualized, please over-sexualize guys too!".
no, but on a serious note:
where exactly have females so much more revealing,skimpy gearsets that guys dont have?
we have swimsuits, guys have speedos
colliseum/tafetta is available for both females and males.
Other than that,there may be 1-2 more ways to mix and match glams to make them look skimpy...but there isnt really much choice.
And I would know, I love sexy glams on my char.
I always laugh when people say females in this game are so over-sexualized.....have these people never seen a korean MMORPG? :D
FFXIV is the innocence of all MMORPGs when it comes to female gear designs, and Yoshi himself said in an interview long time ago that he doesnt feel that this game has a need for overly revealing,skimpy gears.
Tbh, I felt that this must be a troll after seeing picture no 2 and 3. You cant be serious. Thats not even sexy. thats just ridiculous. Heck Borat looks better in his swimsuit.
