Is there a point where it's too late to pre-order SB to get early access?

I'm asking because my girlfriend keeps pushing off pre-ordering it for other games that are going on sale and stuff and she said she was going to get it still so we can level samurai together during early access, but i'm a bit worried because, it seems like something you cant pre-order at the very last second. Or am i wrong in thinking this and you can just pre-order right up until the day before early access starts and still get early access and everything?

The preorder bonus should apply all the way up to official release date.

Ahh I see. Thanks. It just seemed like it was one of those things you gotta get on top of and shouldn't wait until the last second. Perhaps my assumption is wrong :)

Early access starts June 16th, so really if you wait till after the 16th you're getting less time to play. Best to order before the 16th to get 4 days of access, unless she doesn't care about how much access time she gets, I wouldn't wait to preorder after the 16th.

Sounds like GF is REALLY wanting to see how bad you want to level with her.

When Heavensward came out, I tried to get in on early access after it started and was not able to.

I'm a bit poor right now due to seasonal job issues, but if i end up having to get it for her trust me i will ^_^.

Actually, I don't know if it's correct or not, but they made it sound as if the cutoff date was the 16th in the Live Letter. As in pre-order by the 15th to get in. Would need to be confirmed, but I don't feel like digging for it.

IDK about SB, but when HW dropped, I'm fairly certain that I Pre-ordered HW DURING the early access for it. I know that sounds weird, and it's been so long that I don't remember the specifics, but basically I was able to get into early access on the second day by buying it then. Not sure if SB will be the same, but you're best bet is to get it prior to the 15th or 16th.
