Retainers

Why when I want to change a retainer class/job, it resets back to 1? Couldn't SE change this so they can be at our same level? Or at least, if they are lv60 miner, then change to... paladin, and time later you change them back to miner, but with them at lv60 again through an own level system instead of reset.

Also, Why my retainers can't have Snow or Lightning's haircut? I did the event, unlocked everything (hairstyles, attires, weapons...). Why I can, but not them? I would like Lightning or Snow as retainers (since Squadron adventurers aren't customizable).

I would certainly like if you weren't punished so much for changing a retainer's class, I can understand adding some penalty to stop you changing it constantly, but levelling a retainer from 1 to 60 (soon to be 70) takes a long time even if you play daily. Hopefully this will get adjustments at some point.

Also yes, limiting the hairstyles seems like an odd move, especially since you can't preview obtainable hairstyles in the character creator, so you could use the retainer creator to check them for yourself on different races without having to play an alt far enough in to get said hair, but this is sadly not the case.

Retainers in general could use some work, but that can be put on the backburner considering the workload that the devs will likely be facing once Stormblood is out the door.

omg im going through this right now. There should be something they can do fo us, especially at an expansion release. IM switching my main from DRG to PLD for the expec, so I have to reset my retainer if I want to get it up to 70 with my only level 70 class. tis brutal.
