I rolled a new retainer as a miner. He is level 13 right now. I just got a notification that he has reached max level. Does that mean I just need to upgrade his armor etc to keep lvling him? They all go to 60 right?
It's been a long time since I lvled a retainer.
The max level of a retainer is YOUR level in that class - they can never be higher level than yourself.
To level them you send them out on ventures by which they will earn experience. Their gear limits which ventures you can send them on, but does not by itself limit their level.
