hi i was told by a game master to contact tech support on the forums involving an account crash issue with XIV,when 2 of my characters(aereth nvaren excalibur and tsugumi kanshi faerie) teleported to the lavender beds,it caused them and only them to be unplayable. id like to see if you can force teleport them back to home point to see if this issue can be resolved.
I saw an old post today that someone mentioned this problem. The fixed was that the game somehow missed some of the data file and doing a complete reinstall after deleting all the files so that the logs and preference were reset, that it correctly downloaded all the files and resolved this.
You can backup the settings for the hotbars and UI so you do not have to reset those up.
its not a local system error,its an account issue.
