Halatali Access Question
I apologize...can't post it in the Quests forums....
I'm wondering if I missed something, a quest perhaps to get access to Halatali.
https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/Hallo_Halatali
However I don't see it on the main quest line listed here:
https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/w...cenario_Quests
Currently on quest 123 of the main quest line, so I'm not sure how I could have missed it because it looks like it should have been between 42 & 43. Been trying to complete the Malestrom first hunting long, and there are several mobs I need to kill there, and just realized that I don't have access to the dungeon.
Now I'm wondering what I missed for Halatali, and if there are any other dungeons that I might have missed an access quest for? Are the 1-50 dungeons accessed via the main story quest only?
Currently have access to: Satasha, Tam-Tera Deepcroft, Copperbell Mines, Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak, Haukke Manor, and Brayflox's Longstop.
Thanks!

Halatali is a level 20 dungeon accessed by a side quest (it's one of the blue ones) found in Vesper Bay, Western Thanalan called "Hallo Halatali". It's picked up from an NPC named Nedrick Ironheart.
In addition, there are a couple other dungeons that are accessed via side quests and not MSQs as well. Also from Nedrick Ironheart in Vesper Bay is level 35 Sunken Temple of Qarn (quest name: Braving New Depths) and level 47 Aurum Vale (quest name: "Going for Gold").
The NPC named Sibold in Ul'dah Steps of Thal (he's in the marketplace) has a quest called "Dishonor Before Death" that will unlock the level 38 dungeon Cutter's Cry.
Level 44 Dzemael Darkhold is unlocked via a quest called "Fort of Fear" in Coerthas Central Highlands from an NPC called Carrilaut.
Once you hit level 50 in the MSQ, there are many level 50 dungeons for your Level 50 Dungeon Roulette that are unlocked via sidequests as well.
I hope this helped. Good luck and have fun~ :)

I'll say thanks, and I feel pretty sheepish.....
Right after I hit enter, I walked up to Nedrick, I was standing on the other side of the Scions house, and got the quest for it.....totally on me!
Thank you!

I have totally done that before. Don't worry about it at all~ On the upside, now you have lots of information about all the other pre-level 50 dungeons that aren't unlocked using MSQs lol. Have fun in Halatali~ It's a fun one, I think :)

It's worth occasionally checking each area for the blue quest icons with the little plus sign in the lower left corner. That icon indicates that, even though it's not part of the main scenario, the quest is still significant for unlocking something. Some, like in this case, unlock extra dungeons. Others might unlock a game feature (like mounts, materia melding, the Gold Saucer, or there's many others).

Thanks all.....
I should have done a little more reading, that first one had me thinking it was main quest line and I missed something.
The ones with the blue + sign, I'd been doing plenty, but I could have sworn the last time I paid attention to Nedrick he was red....he wasn't, it was the one next to the Scions house, and I just blanked out.
Appreciate it all!
