What's going to happen to Accuracy and Parry Materia and Relic Stats?

Seeing as they are removing Accuracy and Parry (and Block) from gear, I'm curious about what will happen to Accuracy and Parry Materia and Relic Stats (Accuracy more then anything).

As a healer-main, all my gear has Accuracy Materia so I can add DPS when I'm not healing. Going into Stormblood, will it still be Accuracy Materia or will it become Direct Hit Materia? I'm also on the last part of my AST's relic quest and have Accuracy on it so I can meet the Accuracy cap on current-raid content, what will happen to the points that are allocated to Accuracy?

Both are gonna have their stat changed in Stormblood. Those materias won't be going anywhere.

They won't be going anywhere but the direct hit stat will not apply to the healer role. So, when you upgrade in Stormblood, just don't use direct hit.

What about the relic? If the acc was replaced by direct hit, and direct hit doesn't work, half the weapons secondaries will be useless, and that's not as straightforward to swap out as materia is.

The weapon will probably get replaced relatively quickly once 4.0 drops. However, yes, if half of your secondaries on your weapon is accuracy for your healer weapon, it would not surprise me if half of your secondaries are now worthless.

they have to redesign that screen so it will probably reset and give you the points back to redistribute.

You can already do it by yourself using Sands.

Direct hit works on any job but is mostly for DPS, Tenacity is the new Tank only stat replacing Parry, basically each role now has its own "main" substat too.

Accuracy Materia will become Direct Hit, a DPS only stat. Parry materia will be Tenacity, a tank only stat. Piety won't change, but will become a Healer only stat.
