Will Disciples of the Hand/Land Cross-Class Abilities Be Consolidated?
They didn't mention anything, but using the role skill system on crafters would have a massive impact in the economy, lowering the entry bar would end up like GW2 where crafting is not profitable at all outside some time gated items. It would be better if they fixed specialization skills so those without multiple crafters aren't so far behind, but those with multiple crafters still have certain advantage.
You can't really consolidate them since they all do serve a purpose, limiting options would make it tougher to complete objectives if your CP might end up being short of what you thought you had.
DoL cross class skills could be shared, the only ones of real consequence are the three Wards that Miner and Botanist get (they reach get their own set of three, and have to cross class the other three).
DoH, on the other hand, should remain relatively untouched. Provide an additional means of accessing cross class skills through the Specialist stone (so that a CRP still learns Byregot's Blessing at 50, but WVR has the choice of either leveling CRP for it, or taking on the Specialist stone to get it).
Technically, DoH skills are already 90% consolidated. They got more similarities than differences and once you get access to one such difference, you can instantly remove it by slotting it on all >_>
