DANG it feels to be a warrior in stormblood

Just, can you feel the amount of fell cleaves we will do. AND WE GET TO PUNCH PEOPLE IN THE FACE.

Fell cleave x 4 now is pretty amusing. I don't hate it but we have to becareful when we use it cause thats alot of burst enmity from large dps unless fel cleave took a nerf. Rarely I would steal hate after a tank swap if I decided to use the current 3x fel cleave with a fracture system.

I dunno why but when I read we were getting to punch people in the face I was expecting something like:

Not these 3 (i think it was 3?) uppercuts that don't look like they fit at all. I even like Dork knights/DRGs kick animation alot more than our punches. It should have just been one massive punch or an epic head but animation where our rage just gets too much to handle or something.

When Yoshi P was showing off WAR his fell cleaves were only dealing 4k, seems like a nerf to me.

Id rather call it Rape Cleave after seeing the live stream : D

I love it, but I dont think they will keep the damage the same. Either Fell Cleave gets nerfed or the more Fell Cleaves you do, the less effective it becomes.

Do keep in mind that those hits/crits were without any buffs like Maim, Slashing and Berserk, the Fell Cleave tooltip still had the same 500 potency. We're also likely to see secondary stats like crit, determination etc get reduced scaling from lvl61 just like they did at the start of Heavensward from ARR so the beginning of expansion numbers are going to be lower than what you'd expect if you just extrapolate from how our powerlevel has been increasing during this expansion.

However I do wish they'd clarify precisely with what was meant with "as of 4.0 timing we are changing the damage calculation formula to involve strength once again STR", because from what they were saying it seemed to me AP will 'once again' only come from STR while VIT does nothing, or is it that VIT will continue to provide 0.45 AP per point while STR will provide more AP per point than it currently does?
