Black Mage Teleport
As a blm main, there are a couple of quirks that really get to me:
1. I dont see why "teleport" is in the skill description for Aetherial Manipulation when it is a literal slide.
That slide does not feel coherent with the theme of black magic. Would it be difficult to perhaps alter the animation to an actual teleport more similar to the ninja one for the sake of better immersion?
2. Blm has literally two character animations that they forever alternate between during their rotations for every fight ever; whereas jobs like ninja and monk have such a wide array of animations suitable to their job theme. Even whm has more "wizardy" animations! Aero 3 staff-spinning and Holy levitation are gorgeous and just the type of animations you would expect from a mage!
I do not know how responsive SE are to their player suggestions, but these are things I am very passionate (aka desperate) about so I had to give it a shot.

1. It doesn't say Teleport anymore, just "Rush to a target party member's side."

Note: iirc, Elusive Jump used to be an actual backwards launch and Shukuchi an actual teleport; both are now also identically slides—yes, the same as Aetherial Manipulation (with the character animated above its own, actual, hitbox in the first's case).
I suspect these changes were made to keep players from ever reaching unintended areas. In other words, while bots continued to teleport about and beneath the open world, our skills were flattened in order to prevent such exploits by the non-hacking population?

This makes sense though what I propose is not a change in skill function but merely a change in animation: it could still function as a "slide" for all intents and purposes but at least have a teleport animation rather than this ridiculous pull with orbs. Similar to how ninja functions as a slide but looks like an actual teleport.
