new event for gold saucer pvp

i though of a good event they should add to the golden saucer...

make it so we can gamble on pvp match fights... and watch the fights =)
that could be fun.

Make the Silver Mirage in Ul'dah useful and make us gamble in the arena through that. Would be more fun that way better integrated in the world in my opinion. The idea sounds fun although i think it would create a whole new player identity. Also i think there might be troubles with legalisation and underage gambling. Not sure if theres some countries with laws against it.

I like the idea of players themselves being arena champions fighting in gladiatorial battles. Perhaps adding cheer buffs from the audience to boost the fighters stats, speed, etc. There would have to be rewards for the fighters themselves though. Perhaps they gain some of the gil bet? Special gladiator gear? (would love some more roman style gladiator gear)

I approve of this idea.
