Heavensward changed the way some jobs play pretty drastically. Some for the better, some for worse. Are you looking towards potential Stormblood changes with hope or dread?
For PLD, I'm not too worried. Heavensward added some nice flavor to the job, and it's still a pretty basic rotation. I feel like Stormblood can only make PLD more interesting.
I don't think will change too much. Probably most skills will be oCG or support, not much Weaponskills, so those are more easy to accommodate. Also they said the rotations will have more or less the same amount of skills, so probably just ones switch others or complemented them.
dread, changes eventually saw me off ninja. Given the new datacenter it seems like the right idea.
I'm on DRK and MNK, considering SAM soon, but I'm still worried something will make the rotations of either seem like a rat's nest.
After the server move, I think my biggest dread is having to weave in more OGCDs >.>
Otherwise, I'm fairly indifferent.
I'm a California resident. Newly introduced guilt aside, I'm just worried that Stormblood will remove previously conscious or nuanced decisions from rotations in favor of yet more CD abilities that are used only in combination with others (and are therefore non-decisions), because it's apparently maintained that XIV combat is nothing but its openers and CD timings and the typist skills (rarely ever the strategy) to perfect them.
I'd have given Enochian and Blood of the Dragon as exceptions to that generality, but... we'll see what remains of those mechanics...
The difficulty of content is a big one for me, the difficulty curve of HW was a mess.
