I don't understand Radiance spell...

If someone can shed some light on this spell Radiance. I have been messing around with it on lower level mobs to see the point of it.. and quite frankly I just don't see the point to ever use this unless I am doing something wrong?...

spell requires 1000 TP to use, I found the only way I seem to build TP (and not that much of it) is to use my spirit dart (which is on a 10 sec cd..) I just don't see myself waiting 10 sec to build barely any TP and to what? get maybe 2mp back (because thats what I got when I used it) Also as CON soloing / doing levels.. I want to kill as soon as possible without standing around.. is this spell one of the ones that are useless for CON? I am new so just wondering about it since I like to know all my spells and what they do.

Skills, spells and WS will be greatly changed come 1.20 next week. I would say it not longer matters what anything does right now ;p

Note: you can also gain quick tp by regular melee attacks, not just Spirit Dart.

It is the remnant of the battle system before some of the massive changes. It used to do more damage, and mages used to be able to get TP a lot faster. Now that both of those things no longer apply, Radiance is, as you've stated, quite useless.

As the poster above stated, actions will be getting overhauled shortly, so don't put too much thought into it.

I'd like to add that radiance / damnation were always worthless even back when they had the stamina bar and dart hit like a truck.

Just wanted to leave a link to the class reforms here for ya, just in case you didn't get to take a look at it yet.

As you said, Radiance is (and was) always fairly useless and the class ability lists are getting streamlined so that we get a smaller but much more useful arsenal.
