General Question About Subscription

I have FFXIV ARR and Heavensward for both PS4 and for PC. I intend to get Stormblood as well. Question I have is, will I need to purchase Stormblood for both, and also, if I want to get it for my Mac, will I need to repurchase ARR and Heavensward for Mac?

Yes you will need to purchase stormblood for each and yes you will need to purchase all 3 on mac if you plan on playing on that as well (though if you can wait, SB comes with HW so you could save a little there for the mac).

I have been waiting for a mac client. Good to know I won't have to purchase HW and SB separately if I choose to play on Mac. That said, do you know off hands if I can download the client on multiple Macs? I have my desktop and my MacBook...thought if I have to choose, I'd probably go wit the MacBook, as I usually play on the PS4 when not on the go.

I would assume you can download it as many times as you want as long as you have the license for that type. I know it works that way for pc & ps4. As long as you have a mac license on the account you should be able to download it to as many macs as you desire. I should note that I don't have a mac/mac license so I can't absolutely confirm that for you though.

As long as you have the license for which ever you play on be it console, pc, or mac then you are good to go. All you have to do is download the client enter your log in information and play.

Take a look at this link In your case you wouldn't have to purchase anything separately since the online complete edition comes with ARR, HW and SB. However it's not available for pre order nor would you get all the pre order and early access bonus, but if you can wait with your mac purchase that's a pretty good deal instead of having to purchase everything as an single item.

I don't own a mac, but I am pretty sure you can also find more information on that webpage, before making the purchase or contact customer support in game and see if they can answer your question.

A trial account should allow you do download at least part of the content beforehand.
