Matchmaking
I would like to know how the matchmaking works in pvp, like its supose to create a full party with 2 tanks/healers and 4 dds?
I ask because i almost never start with 2 healers and i even done with 4 healers/4 dds.
It gives a huge disavantage to the party who has less healers.
Also i have a big problem with people changing roles from healer to dd when theres no other healer, why this is allowed? Absolutely no reason unless queue time, and doing that you probably will lose, so i dont get it.

There is no matchmaking outside of ranked. This goes for Frontlines and 8v8 Feast alike. Parties are matched randomly with no consideration for party composition - sometimes there will be a party with 4 healers when the two others have none, showing that there is literally no effort made to split or match them evenly. That also means the queue times are the same for everyone regardless of the class they queue up as, so that's not what explains switching from healer to DPS. Usually, it's when a healer isn't comfortable solo-healing and makes a statement that they won't do it unless someone else goes healer with them, but of course there may be other explanations, like if they never meant to heal and simply queued on the wrong class by mistake.
I think there used to be matchmaking in those modes, but SE removed it because queue times were getting completely out of hand (mostly due to lack of healers), so they allowed games to happen with whatever people queued up. However I wasn't playing at that time, so I may be wrong there.

Even with the weird composition you get in 8v8 and frontline, I would rather play then wait forever to get the old required roles on each team.

Matchmaking barely exists in ranked too because of how dead it is, like -2/+2 tiers either side (ie a 3k Diamond player can wind up with a fresh 1k rated gold healer)

The one thing I WOULD like to see is better party diversity in 72-mans. No reason for the system to place 4 healers in the same party while the other two have 0. Same situation with tanks - HP party buff and tank LB are great tools and there's nothing like a party having 3 while the other two parties are all healers/DPS.
Forcing composition would murder queues, but the game could at LEAST attempt some sort of algorithm in how players from an overarching pool are placed into parties.

You can change job or class inside non role restricted pvp modes, by locking the roles on the matchmakingz it will take a lot more time for istances to pop

Plus there's something fun about a bunch of DPS and tanks going at it with each other with no healers on either side.
