Acc on SCH?
So just finished the umbrite step of the anime quest and i went for determination and crit chance. But after doing some looking around it seems most people go crit and acc. My question is Why? why does a healer need Acc i've never noticed my attacks missing so why build for it what am i missing here?

So they won't miss In raids. If you don't raid everything is fine I suppose.

So long as you don't do EX Trials or raids you don't need Accuracy at all. A healer DPSing in that kind of content needs to meet the same accuracy caps casters have to meet in order not to miss any spell :)
-
Note that when SB comes, chances are ACC is getting a work around. It is a useless stat if you ask me ...
-
Even in EX trials it's not desperately important to have acc imo, whilst I never was nor will be top tier healer DPS, I did reasonably ok without it at the time.
If you are planning on DPSing stuff in the end game, it's good to have. If you aren't, I really wouldn't worry about it too much especially at this stage.

Determination is the worst stat for Scholar right now. And spellspeed actually boosts DPS more than Crit. But at this point it really doesn't matter which stats you're putting on your relic, since expansion will replace it next month anyway. :)

Det on a SCH = useless. It really does nothing for you.
SCH is Acc/Crit/SpS. SpS gives your best boost in DPS as it, well... allows you to get stuff off faster. :P SpS also affects the potency of DoTs. Crit also provides a DPS boost (most notably, each tick of your DoTs can crit individually) and helps with the healing aspect as well. Acc is absolutely necessary in raid/EX content because you should be DPSing and if you don't meet the caster acc cap a bunch of your skills will miss and it will be a waste of your resources. So is just standig around when no healing is required. Therefore, acc could be considered one of a Savage healer's most important stats. Also, if you're raiding or doing extreme primals as a SCH and not DPSing, WHY are you playing a SCH? That's what SCHs are built for: balancing healing and DPS. ;;; WHM/AST have a better excuse for not DPSing that SCH does. But if you're not doing raid/EX... well, I guess it doesn't matter AS much. :P
As was mentioned, there may be a rework for acc coming in 4.0. We'll see what that entails... ;P For now I wouldn't even worry about restatting your anima, especially if you don't do Savage.

Well, you can't say DET is worthless, it's just the stat weight isn't as good as it once was in ARR when it would buff your fairy heals quite a bit as well. We also got good gear this tier like the Alex healer jacket and Shire pants that are Crit/Det. Who knows, they might make the stat more desirable again in SB. But it's ACC to Cap>Crit>SpS or SpS/Crit variance on play style, gear, raid group, etc.
To preface, my next statement is a raid mentality, if you aren't in a raid, or just don't care about healer damage then it won't matter.
It doesn't matter what job you are in this game, every job is responsible for DPS and on that same token if you take your job seriously enough you are also being responsible for making sure you can hit when needed. Do you blame yourself as part of 1% wipes and you have 6-10 misses?

Man they really need to add better tool tips so we know how much each stat effect things(numbers or % would be nice) would never have guess DET wasn't worth it. That does make since on ACC though sadly I've been to busy to raid(haven't even finished norm Alex yet) but thx for the responses

Accuracy is important for any content that is above the standard accuracy cap. That means EX Primals, Savage Raids & PVP. We don't know what is happening in 4.0 yet so I wouldn't worry too much. They did introduce higher accuracy requirements for Antitower & other dungeons but there was an outcry from people who didn't want to have to meld accuracy so they reduced it back to base level.
